We are looking for an Engineer in Development, with an opportunity to have a significant impact on the Professional Tools business. The Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a three-year development program designed to provide a range of development opportunities, focused on engineering, to help recent university graduates build critical skills as they gain a well-rounded experience within our organization. These structured experiences will expose participants to several elements of our development process and provide real opportunities to collaborate with other employees and management, receive mentoring, gain multi-functional experience, and receive formal training. Rotational assignments include Hardware Design, Embedded Systems Development, Software Engineering, and Data Science.
This role, based in Elyria, OH, or Rockford, IL, will collaborate with very hardworking individuals dedicated to revolutionizing the industry! You’ll apply the latest technologies, equipment, and research facilities to bring your ideas to life. Your responsibilities will consist of product development, sustainability, and research. For this Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States. Sponsorship with not be provided for this role.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $76,500-$79,500 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
