If you are an Education professional with Learning Management experience and are looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our San Jose, Costa Rica location, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering our Global Learning Management System (LMS). This role acts as an LMS SME, assisting in maintaining process documentation partnering with the Sr. Global Education Services Specialist and global business unit leads.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:

Configure new courses (classroom, virtual, online) while ensuring adherence to global accreditation policies. Set up certifications, learning paths, and manage prerequisites.

Execute annual pricing refreshes and course metadata updates (titles, descriptions, translations).

Navigate Oracle database part and pricing setups/management.

Publish and maintain content and assessments, via LCMS workflows; ensure version control and accessibility standards.

Owns issue logging, triage, and escalation to vendor/IT; communicate status to stakeholders.

Lead technical support, troubleshoot permissions, and reporting; develop how-to guides and admin tutorials.

Support organizational processes by maintaining role documentation, administering security permissions, and providing training resources and workshops to strengthen admin team capabilities across Business Units and Global Education Services.

Owns Super User request form intake; train super users and coordinate monthly administrator meetings.

Support release management activities.

Generate learner analytics and business unit requested reports; monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies.

Partner with Sr. Global Education Services Specialist on enhancements and escalated incident resolution.

Train and mentor the Education Services team on LMS processes, best practices, and new features; foster collaboration across the entire team by being approachable, responsive, and a trusted resource for questions and guidance.

For this role, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Learning & Development or related field plus 5+ years’ experience; or 3+ years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience with LMS or learning technology applications in an enterprise environment.

Hands-on experience with enterprise LMS platforms (Seertech or similar), content publishing (LCMS), SCORM/xAPI, and role/permission administration.

Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to manage issue queues, triage defects, and coordinate escalations.

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support global stakeholders.
