About The Team And The Role:

As a Senior Manager I, you will lead a team of Junior and Senior Investigators within the General Investigations Unit of the FIU, while maintaining a reduced investigative portfolio. You will drive operational excellence, staff development, and process improvement, ensuring e Bay’s compliance with AML/CTF regulations and its commitment to platform integrity.

• What You Will Do- Oversee multiple investigators and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

• Lead strategic initiatives aimed at improving case management, analytics, and reporting efficiency.

• Handle escalated and sensitive investigations, including those with regulatory exposure.

• Develop and coach team leaders; ensure strong talent pipelines and succession planning.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Product teams on enterprise-level AML initiatives.

• Maintain limited investigative work (~40% casework / 60% leadership).

• What You’ll Bring- 7–10 years of AML/FIU experience, including 3+ years in management.

• Expert understanding of AML/CTF regulations and risk typologies.

• Proven record of leadership in regulatory and audit environments.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.

• Ability to interpret data trends and translate insights into operational improvements.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$103,600 - $177,800

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
