Duties

  • Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently.
  • Oversee food handling processes to maintain compliance with Domino's standards health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate services for events, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Utilize POS systems for managing transactions and reporting.
  • Conduct interviews and hire staff to build a strong team focused on customer service.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for employees to enhance their skills.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Implement shift management strategies to optimize staff performance during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu offerings meet guest expectations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the food industry.
  • 2 years of experience in the Pizza Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and inventory control systems.
  • Familiarity with catering operations and event management.
  • Proficiency in POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in interviewing and team management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Summary

In the role of General Manager in Training, you will learn to oversee daily operations while ensuring exceptional food service and hospitality management. Reporting to the District Manager, you will utilize your core skills in staff training and team management to develop a high-performing team. Your skills in inventory control and POS systems will enhance operational efficiency. You will have a focus on customer service and communication, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow in the food service industry, with only moderate experience required.

GM starting salary is $55,000 per year with up to 15% EBITA bonus potential and a full Benefits package.
