About the Role:

This role is mandated to lead the category growth of Don Julio (Tequila), Tanqueray (Gin) , Smirnoff (Vodka) through bridging China narrative, global asset and shouldering profit& loss ownership.

You will be responsible for:

  • 1.Category & Portfolio strategic development

  • Capture the external trend in China market and well articulate the category / consumer trend to lead strategy development and alignment.

  • Develop the 'hand in glove' partnership with global Marketing and innovation team to fully utilize the resource/asset in China to deliver our strategy.

  • Ensure the right growth drivers and marketing assets are in place for the market and agree adaptation where required to accommodate local nuances.

  • Lead the cross function team in an engaging way to create a high performing culture, who are inspired to take entrepreneurial risks, encouraged to continuously learn and develop themselves.

  • Able to build trust and respect through open and honest relationships across the business.

  • Build and coach diverse teams to unlock performance and growth, in an inclusive environment where everyone can be at their best

  • 3.Brand Development

  • Lead the development of China brand strategy and annual Marketing Business Plan for dedicated brands.

  • Localize, adapt, and/or co-develop global growth drivers with GBT's support. Initiate and develop new local growth drivers as business required.

  • Brand culture, media and digital strategy that continue improve brand awareness, trial and penetration.

  • Lead the BLT/channel activation plan I collaborative efforts with channel leaders, customer marketing, and related multi-function team.

  • 4.P&L Accountability

  • Monitor and influence portfolio performance to ensure it meets category Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and other key category index.

  • Grow value share.

  • Develop and deployment of marketing plans for our white spirit brands that help build brand equity, grow market share, and deliver sustainable profitable growth.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven track record running complex portfolio in vibrant China marketing environment and multinational company/global mix.
  • Related alcohol industry experience with bar/ bartender relationship is preferred.
  • Successful experience managing brands from innovation development to new product launch in GC.
  • Experienced in managing P&L and large budgets with attentions to efficiency.
  • Sensitivity& agility on market/ category trends with high level of curiosity and brilliant execution to bring it to life.
  • Seasoned leadership and to lead without authority in cross function works.
  • Proven ability to inspire and coach broader brands team from good to great.
  • Fluent English and ability of communicate externally (with local customer and bartenders).
