Job Title: Financial Controlling Lead Analyst

About Us

Financial Controlling team provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The function is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency. Other responsibilities also include ensuring there is a true and fair representation of business performance at the cut-off point for the period and transparency on financials for Business Performance Management.

About the role

  • Top Accountabilities- Perform month end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation

  • Support the reconciliation process (e.g. accounting guidance and ensuring proper backup information and data in alignment with PCAOB requirements)

  • Ensure that financial and statutory processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal (CARM) and external requirements

  • Understand, interpret, and implement Group Accounting and Reporting requirements, communicate requirements to the rest of the Financial Control Teams and to relevant teams in GBO

  • Support the FAC process, provide analysis for the FAC completion

  • About You- Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting / business

  • Qualified accountant

  • 4-5 years' experience in relevant area

  • Experience working within an international / multicultural environment

  • Exemplary Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)

  • Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)

  • Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering alternative solutions for issues

  • Adequate order and customer management experience

  • Strong IT systems acumen

  • Fluent English knowledge
