We're seeking someone to join our New Technology Governance team as a Technology Risk Governance Associate in Technology Risk, Governance & Control (TRGC) to help shape and enforce governance for technologies like Generative AI, ensuring they are adopted responsibly, securely, and in compliance with Technology policy.
In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.
This is a Technology Risk Governance Associate position, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What you'll do in the role

Contribute to the function through a range of operational activities and project tasks, developing an understanding of the business and operating environment.

Support governance process for Generative AI within Technology.
-
Support maintenance and enhancement of workflows for GenAI onboarding, ensuring alignment with Firm policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., EU AI Act).

Track and report on risk, issues, and control adoption relating to GenAI use cases, leveraging tools such as i Comply and Open Pages.

Partner with technology teams to validate use case and key lifecycle gates.

Contribute to the development of governance artefacts, including procedures and committee materials.

Support improvements to tooling and processes in relation to inventory, metrics, and issues management.

Engage with stakeholders across Technology and Non-Financial Risk to ensure appropriate governance over new technologies.
What you'll bring to the role

At least 2 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Ability to engage with the broader team, communicate goals, tasks and deliverables in 1-1 and team meetings.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Understanding of governance frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory considerations for new technologies (e.g. Cloud, Generative AI).

Experience in technology risk, compliance, or operational governance, ideally within financial services or a highly regulated industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.

Proficiency in using collaboration and workflow tools (e.g., JIRA) and comfort with reporting dashboards.
