Job Title: Senior Executive
- Exports (Lean Logistics)
About the role: - The Senior Executive
- Export Lean Logistics is responsible for managing end-to-end export operations for alcoholic beverages, with a strong focus on packaging material coordination, label development, SKU governance, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting. The role ensures seamless execution of exports in adherence to domestic and international regulatory requirements, cost optimization and timely market support.
Role Responsibilities:
PM Planning:
-
Analyse 3-month sales plan and allocate firm orders across multiple plants to ensure production readiness with-respect-to Packing Material connectivity, based on commercial inputs and historical sales trends.

Plan, procure and monitor supply of packing materials including bottles, cartons, labels, mono cartons and secondary packaging.

Conduct forecast Vs firm order analysis, highlighting deviations and recommending adjustments for slow-moving or deactivated SKUs.

Participate in S&OP discussions to align supply plans with commercial forecasts; new SKU/customer master updates.
-
Lead weekly material review meetings with factories, collaborate with category buyers and vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Label Registration Management
-
Coordinate with commercial team for artwork approval, revision and design team & vendors for label design development.

Ensure label content complies with statutory requirements of importing countries and domestic authorities.
-
Facilitate end-to-end Annual LR cycle in coordination with Commercial Team and multiple units and maintain depository for label artworks and master.

Initiate and complete Label-Registration process for Innovation & Renovation after securing multiple stakeholders.

SKU & Master Data Management
-
Create and maintain SKU codes in SAP for export products and packaging materials.
-
Ensure accurate mapping of SKUs across markets, pack sizes, and variants.
-
Maintain version control and traceability for label and SKU changes.
-
SLOB (Slow-Moving, Obsolete & Blocked) Review
-
Conduct periodic SLOB reviews for packaging materials and export SKUs with units.
-
Identify risks related to excess, obsolete or non-compliant inventory.
-
Recommend corrective actions including re-utilization, write-offs or redesigns in coordination with planning and finance teams.

Regulatory & Compliance Management
-
Ensure adherence to export regulations, FSSAI (where applicable) and destination country alcohol norms.

Track license renewals, approvals and regulatory timelines to avoid business disruptions.

Statutory Reporting & Returns, COGS management
-
File periodic returns on government portals related to exports, excise and statutory compliance such as APEDA, RCMC, EY compliance portal.
-
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions to avoid penalties or audit observations.
-
Maintain documentation for audits, inspections and regulatory reviews.
-
Prepare details COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) breakdown for RM, PM, Bottling Charges, Overheads.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

Act as the key liaison between internal teams (sales, finance, supply chain, quality, legal) and external stakeholders (vendors, designers, regulators).

Support export market launches and new product introductions through timely approvals and readiness.

Key Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of alcoholic beverage export regulations and excise compliance

Expertise in labelling regulations, packaging materials, and SKU governance
-
Experience in SLOB management and inventory risk mitigation
-
Familiarity with ERP systems- SAP and government compliance portals
-
Strong coordination, documentation and stakeholder management skills
-
High attention to detail and deadline-driven execution
-
Experience & Qualification- 2-5 years of experience in exports/compliance within the alco-bev or FMCG industry

Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field
-
Hands-on experience with regulatory filings and excise authorities preferred
