Work You'll Do
As an Insurance Solutions Manager, you will bring considerable insurance domain and functional expertise in the areas of Underwriting, Rating, Policy Administration, Claims and/or Distribution to deliver effective solutions to clients. Using a combination of direct management and hands-on delivery, you will craft solutions for clients, guide and oversee the quality of your team's deliverables and manage day to day stakeholder relationships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead aspects of the proposal development process and pursuit teams; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
- Develop and execute client workshops
- Leverage deep industry knowledge, insights, trends, and proven approaches to help clients confirm priorities and develop strategies to drive value to the business
- Develop insight-based hypotheses for the future vision to influence the strategy, vision, and prioritization of capabilities under ambiguous conditions and multiple uncertainties.
- Oversee project delivery including engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage cross functional engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from client executives; direct on-time, quality deliverables; manage engagement economics and risk
- Develop and foster relationships with clients and establish credibility as a trusted advisor to bring industry domain expertise to a variety of projects.
- Contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership, play a significant role in business development activities, and own responsibility for the development of junior staff.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 years consulting or relevant Insurance experience within Property & Casualty, Commercial lines, Specialty Insurance and/or Life & Annuities/Group
- 6 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: Insurance Products, Underwriting, Rating, Policy Administration, Claims or Distribution
- 6 years' experience in logical structuring, storyboarding and/or presentation development using PowerPoint
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD)
- 4 years' experience managing at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, business analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, and testing
- CPCU, AIC, ARM Certification
- 6 years' experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Solutions with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar package
- 4 years' experience in Life & Annuities Solutions with FAST, Sapiens, Calcfocus, ALIP, Vertafore/VUE, i Pipeline i Go, Firelight or Unqork (specific to Life, Annuities and Group)
- 4 years' experience delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,200 - $265,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
