Social Strategist

What you’ll do
As a Social Strategist, you will support social media and creator strategy projects and initiatives, working in close collaboration with consulting strategy, creative, brand strategy, measurement/performance and account management teams day-to-day. You’ll support the delivery of social and creator work for our clients and support new business pursuits across a variety of sectors. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and activate social-first ideas, helping brands tell strong stories and effectively reach their target audiences. In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social marketing and campaign strategist grounded in rigorous analysis of audience insights, cultural trends and business objectives.
- Craft inspirational creative briefs and foster collaborative partnerships with creative and strategy teams.
- Serve as a key creative collaborator, articulating a compelling brand voice and guiding content development to ensure authenticity and impact across all influencer collaborations.
- Leverage measurement tools to deliver actionable reporting and optimization recommendations based on clearly defined and relevant KPIs.
- Conduct ongoing social listening to generate insights that inform campaign planning, content innovation, and creator partnership strategies.
- Perform in depth competitive and trend analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
The team
Deloitte Digital’s team creates content and experiences that inspire action. We design and implement technology platforms for personalized marketing across all digital touchpoints, specializing in customer-centric B2B and B2C solutions. Our in-house agency engages customers throughout their journey, working on projects like Ad Tech, Mar Tech, campaign automation, CRM, and lead-to-loyalty orchestration. Qualifications
Required:
-
3+ years of experience at a social, digital, creative, or branding agency, or within a social media or technology platform, consistently contributing to innovative campaigns and brand growth.

3+ years’ experience defining and delivering social media strategy that aligns with brand and business objectives

Ability to travel up to 30% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred

3+ years of hands-on expertise managing social media channels (earned, owned, and paid), including quantifiable experience developing integrated marketing campaigns, and articulating the synergy between social and broader branded advertising tactics.

3+ years utilizing advanced online research tools (e.g., You Gov, Simmons) to analyze consumer insights and inform strategic recommendations, leading to data-driven marketing decisions

1+ years experience with content creation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is* $97,900 to $163,100.*
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
