We are seeking a Senior Director, Commercial Training to define and drive our global commercial training vision. In this role, you will design and execute a comprehensive training strategy spanning product, technical, and commercial capabilities, directly empowering our teams to meet ambitious revenue growth goals.

You will also develop a long‑term capability roadmap that aligns with business priorities, responds to competitive market dynamics, and anticipates evolving customer needs, ensuring our commercial organisation is equipped for sustained success.

What you will do:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing training organisation, managing a strong talent pipeline within the team.

  • Build and implement a systematic capability assessment framework to evaluate skills, knowledge, and behaviours across the entire Cytiva commercial organisation.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to identify performance gaps and training opportunities through data and customer insights.

  • Benchmark commercial and technical competencies against industry standards to inform strategic development initiatives.

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable learning programmes, including product launches, technical certifications, and commercial skills curriculum.

  • Drive training initiatives that directly improve sales productivity, win rates, and market share performance.

  • Translate strategic business goals into measurable commercial capability outcomes, embedding value selling, competitive positioning, and customer-centric approaches.

  • Develop a robust knowledge-validation and certification system to ensure overall knowledge capabilities, as well as product and commercial readiness for launches, campaigns, and technical updates

Who you are:

  • Previous experience in commercial training, sales enablement, product training, sales or commercial excellence.

  • Proven track record leading large-scale capability development for distributed sales teams or similar (preferred).

  • Industry experience is beneficial.

  • Strong analytical mindset, with a data-driven approach to problem solving.

  • Ability to work effectively within a global organisation - strong cross-functional influencing skills.
