The Warehouse Forklift Driver uses tools and equipment to pick, sort, move, and store materials within the warehouse ensuring efficient movement of goods through the supply chain. The role involves using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY and is an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Move materials and products from loading docks to delivery vehicles, ships, or storage areas. Receive, stock, and organize inventory, often using electronic tracking systems to maintain accurate records. Collect and sort materials for order fulfillment or production, sometimes palletizing them for shipment.

• Operate manual and power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes to handle materials.

• Perform basic cleaning of equipment, like material hoppers, and ensures proper storage of materials and follows safety protocols when handling materials and operating equipment.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent

• Attention to detail is crucial for accurate inventory management and record-keeping along with basic computer/data entry skills are helpful for tracking supplies and inventory.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Good physical strength and stamina are needed for prolonged periods on your feet and for lifting heavy products.

• Familiarity with operating equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts is essential.

• Shift will be Monday

• Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $25.41/hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
