This position reports to the Director Operations and is part of the Manufacturing Operations located in Pune and will be an on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable EHS laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Liaise with government authorities and statutory bodies for permits, audits, and inspections.
  • Develop and implement site-specific EHS policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.
  • Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or B.E/B.Tech (Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field). Master's degree in safety management or a related discipline will have an added advantage.
  • 8–10 years of EHS experience in Manufacturing or Industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Statutory requirements and Global EHS standards.
  • Proven ability to manage regulatory compliance and interact with government agencies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety professional), NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor, OSHA will have an added advantage.
