This position is part of Pall’s Global Process Engineering group Systems team and will be located in Pune, India in an onsite capacity, working 5 days in the office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Generate designs which meets customer specifications and offers safe and reliable/robust design which is easy to manufacture/operate and maintain.
• Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety and functionality are met in accordance with the customer requirements and current legislation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• B.E/B.Tech (Chemical / Process Engineering), with 3-5 yrs of relevant experience
• Good understanding, interpretation and creation of piping and instrumentation diagrams and process flow diagrams (P&ID &PFD). Ability to create P&ID / PFD in ACAD or equivalent tools.
• Good knowledge of preparing / performing process calculations (PSV / line sizing / hydraulic / RO etc).
• Good knowledge material selection based on process, providing inputs on system components, mechanical interfaces on skid, vessels, tie-ins and also on interfaces on internals with cartridges.
• Good knowledge of heat and material balances and report preparation / interpretation, calculating sizing and validating of filters, coalescers and separator sizing.
• Good understanding of process standards for valves, process design (API), sizing and explosion proofing (Atex), practical experience in attending HAZOP / HAZID and SIL session is preferred.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel – list specifics % travel, overnight, within territory or locations
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to ##lb, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in design of filtration and separation and pressure vessels products or equivalent.
