The Supplier Quality Engineer Logistics is responsible for quality assurance services to ensure the integrity of products received and shipped out, services provided to clients, support business and customer needs, and comply with government regulations, industry and Op Co standards.
This position reports to the Senior Quality Assurance Logistics Manager and is part of the Quality and Regulatory Affairs team.
What you’ll do
- Improve supplier quality performance through quality plan implementation.
- Ensure supplier compliance to QMS and regulatory requirements through supplier monitoring process.
- Collaborate with Suppliers, Logistics, Sourcing, and Manufacturing to deliver quality improvements that minimize the costs of quality and improve processes.
- Develop and execute Corrective and Preventive Action plans with suppliers. Support internal deviation process linked to Logistics activities.
- Build and implement Supplier Audit Plan and undertake supplier technical reviews when appropriate.
- Lead and execute supplier and route qualification activities in collaboration with Logistics Operations and Sourcing teams. (including management of supplier audits and quality agreement).
Who you are
- A proactive, self-driven, results seeking and enthusiastically intense person who enjoys driving improvement, collaborating with teams and delivering impact
- A quality professional with a minimum of 3 years of quality related work experience, that includes direct experience in quality and supplier quality management, preferably in life sciences
- Experience in working with logistics providers (3PL, warehouse, transportation, brokers) in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry, preferably both.
- Earned a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field with experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance
- English speaker.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- The desire and ability to travel up to 30%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Ability to develop, communicate and implement a strategy to ensure compliance to Cytiva, regulatory and industry requirements
- Effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross-functionally and globally).
- Knowledge of supplier quality management workstreams including qualification, auditing, change management, CAPA/RCA, QMS development and training program development
