The JAPAC Analyst Finance & Accounting is responsible for accountingand FP&A work for JAPAC regions, including general reporting and support business process improvements.

This position reports to the JAPAC finance manager and is part of the Global Ops finance team located in Shanghai and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Closely work with accounting team to reconcile the actual.
• Perform JAPAC month-end closing financial reporting package and related variance analysis and reporting.
• Monthly forecast on PNL and working capital
• Assist on driving cost saving and working capital improvement, especially on DSO, Inventory turns and DPO etc.
• Support manager to perform sales and order monitoring as well as related analysis reporting and support business analysis for growth.
• Champion and support process improvement initiatives throughout the business.
• Actively participate in cross-functional projects to implement automation.
• Other tasks assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include: (NOTE For Hiring Manager: Please reference the 3-5-7 Job Requirements Model)

• 2+ years of finance related experience. Commercial finance experience is preferred. Practical experience in financial planning, reporting and control.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance or accounting.
• Good written and spoken skills in English.
• Ability to work with high self-motivation, be sensitive to numbers and the capacity to work in a changeable and stressful environment.
• Well-developed inter-personal skills and good communication skills. Strong business partnering and teamwork mindset.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• PBI reports experience would be a plus.
• JP or KR language would be a plus.
• Oracle experience preferred.
