The Assistant Engineer, Internal Customer Support (1-Year Contract) is responsible for conducting instrument testing, evaluating first article parts/subsystems, measuring part dimensions and compiling data for analysis.

This position reports to the Internal Customer Support Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Engineering department located in Woodlands, Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform commissioning and final tests on instruments to evaluate the automation process.
• Evaluate first article parts/subsystems by running the verification protocols on instruments.
• Support engineers by gathering and compiling data for analysis.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience working in ISO 13485 manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Hands on experience in using measuring equipment like digital multimeters, oscilloscope, function generators, etc.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel to China for 1 month during project.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10kg daily.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Printed Circuit Board Assembly manufacturing process
• Operation and Application on mass spectrometer instruments
