The Marketing Cloud Technical Lead is a detail-oriented problem solver who can collect requirements and implement them within Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities. This role is responsible for maintaining the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment. The preferred candidate should be analytical, enthusiastic, and experienced in developing APIs, creating emails and journeys, and supporting integrations, with certified expertise in the Core Salesforce Clouds.

This position is part of the Global Strategic Marketing team and will be located in Manchester, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Gathers requirements and creates technical solutions for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform functionalities.

  • Maintains the SCIEX Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment.

  • Integrates Salesforce Marketing Cloud and develop Data Model.

  • Manage and develop API, Emails, Journeys and supporting integration and database management.

  • Track campaign effectiveness through BI dashboards, ROI, KPI analysis, website usage and recommend improvements.

  • Monitor and improve digital campaign metrics, Reach, engagement, enrichment, segmentation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • At least 4 years’ experience working hands-on in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, ideally involving integrations with Salesforce core and other platforms.

  • Certified Marketing Cloud Developer or Admin (Salesforce Administrator beneficial)

  • 4 years of Designing and implementing cloud pages, customer journeys, marketing automation, and omni channel communication in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Experience working with Salesforce data cloud.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders as part of email campaign build, design, and execution.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with web analytics.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Excellent project management skills, including organizing, prioritizing and tracking all phases of a project.
