Shipping Coordinator | Danaher Diagnostics

At Danaher Diagnostics, our work supports healthcare outcomes by ensuring the right products reach customers safely, compliantly, and on time. We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to own inbound shipment coordination and system execution—ensuring end-to-end traceability, temperature compliance, and timely goods receipt in Oracle.

This role is critical to operational excellence: aligning inbound timelines with warehouse capacity, managing shipment documentation, reviewing temperature loggers, raising NC/GOPE where needed, and delivering daily inbound visibility to stakeholders—powered by a continuous improvement mindset and DBS tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retrieve and review ER files via Shipping/Logistics as early notification for upcoming inbound shipments.

  • Coordinate inbound arrival timelines with the Receiving Team Leader, ensuring appropriate manpower/equipment allocation for offloading and processing.

  • Prepare inbound shipment documentation and hand over to the Receiving Team Leader to validate item details and confirm any temperature excursion indicators.

  • Review shipment documentation and temperature data loggers; assess excursions using the approved Temperature Tool for any impacted products.

  • Raise NC/GOPE in the system for any discrepancies (damage, shortage, mismatch) and/or temperature excursions, ensuring timely containment and documentation.

  • Support the Inventory Manager with credit note follow-up with origin (where applicable), based on qualification criteria for damage/shortage or other inbound discrepancies.

  • Execute **Inbound / Material Goods Receipt (GR)**in Oracle against shipping documents and ensure GR completion within 24 hours of shipment arrival.

  • Prepare and circulate a daily inbound activity summary to relevant stakeholders across the business (e.g., Planning, Operations, Inventory, Customer Support).

  • Maintain accurate inbound shipment records and archiving, ensuring full traceability in Share Point and compliance with documentation retention requirements.

  • Coordinate with the Planning team for special handling scenarios (high volume, urgent shipments, late arrivals, exceptions); align with the Inbound Team Leader on resource plans and overtime as needed.

  • Process RMA transactions in the system in coordination with the Fulfilment Team.

  • Assist the Inventory Manager with reporting and data extraction for inbound and discrepancy-related activities, as required.
