Sr. Occupancy Planner

Job Description Summary

The Senior Occupancy Planner will lead a team of direct reports, overseeing their performance, development, and day-to-day responsibilities. This role partners closely with the account leadership team, other service lines, and client representatives to align strategic and tactical planning efforts. The Senior Occupancy Planner is responsible for guiding and supporting a team of professionals to deliver best-in-class Occupancy Planning services, managing the supply, capacity, and demand of the client's portfolio of space.

Job Description

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of direct reports; set clear expectations, provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development to ensure high performance, engagement, and alignment with organizational goals

  • Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration within the team, ensuring each member understands their role in delivering best-in-class client support and service excellence

  • Act as the primary relationship manager for the client, proactively building and sustaining strong, trust-based partnerships; anticipate client needs, resolve issues, and drive client satisfaction and retention

  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for deliverables, project milestones, and quality standards

  • Direct the overall planning and development of new spatial activities and the activities of current projects and programs• Work closely with account leadership team, service line peers, and client representatives to build strategic partnerships, ensure alignment of services with client objectives, and drive continuous improvement in client satisfaction with occupancy planning team performance.

  • Prepare operational presentations and reports illustrating Space pipeline, progress, challenges, opportunities, and recommendations. Conduct meetings with clients, Space team members and cross-functional account members to inform, consult, request action, and seek approval with internal and client stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with core program standards - all C&W tools, processes, templates, and outputs standardized and customized to the client

  • Demonstrate proactive solutioning through root cause analysis, solution development, evaluation of options, and alternatives and recommendation of the best course of action for projects, processes, and overall program operations

  • Collaborate with IFM, PDS, and client RE leadership for alignment and day-to-day operations. Recommend adjustments to processes when misalignment is identified

  • Make recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Direct development of program tools and deliverables, which accomplish recommended solutions.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of playbooks, templates, and tools

  • Coach and inspire the team to consistently deliver client-centric space planning solutions and move management for all project types; reinforce the importance of exceptional client relationship management and continuous improvement in client support.

  • Direct the development of planning proposals, site assessments for space efficiencies, utilization metrics, and supply and demand studies

  • Direct the delivery of project activities, including relocations, restacks, renovations, and consolidations

  • Establish goals and objectives with timetables for the organizational unit and sub-units supervised

  • Develop, present, and maintain headcount budgets, forecasting, and gearing ratios

  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations

  • Maintain a working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems, and relational database functionality

  • Demonstrate proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts, and design; provide test fits upon request

  • Have experience in managing projects of varied scope and complexity

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk AutoCAD software applications

  • Have excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills

  • Work independently and as part of a team

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services

  • Have strong oral, written, and presentation skills

  • Assume ownership of requests to ensure successful completion

  • Pay strong attention to detail and quality

  • Handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 86,615.00 - $101,900.00
