We have an exciting permanent opportunity for Senior Manager Demand Planning to join our S&OP team, based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create and keep up a detailed, rolling 36-month forecast of customer demand for each product category.

  • Own regular demand-planning meetings and reviews, making sure updates from internal teams are captured and acted on.

  • Lead the handover from demand planning to supply planning, clearly explaining forecast changes, risks, and opportunities.

  • Analyse forecast performance, identify root causes of errors or bias, and recommend improvements.

  • Keep product and master data accurate so statistical forecasting models work correctly.

  • Maintain and support the statistical forecasting process and update models as needed.

  • Coordinate with customer-facing planners to align forecasts across product categories and with specific customers.

  • Work closely with sales and commercial strategy teams so short-term forecasts feed smoothly into long-term plans and all changes are recorded.

  • Build strong relationships with internal sales and operations teams and act as the main contact for your assigned categories.

  • Run regular collaboration with top customers to align their order plans and forecasts with our internal plans.

  • Engage senior customer stakeholders across the Australia & New Zealand region.

  • Contribute to the demand leadership team to increase engagement, support delivery of the annual plan, and help develop a high-performing team.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a bachelor’s degree of relevance e.g. Supply Chain, Operations, Finance (required)

  • Team player, excellent communication skills & storytelling, and confidence to presenting in meetings

  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and an analytical approach to problem solving.

  • Advanced Statistical Modelling skills and ability to work with large data sets

  • Advanced Master data management (preferred)

  • Experience in Blue Yonder/JDA (or similar Demand Planning Systems), SAP, & Statistical Modelling

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • IBP Process Knowledge
