Job Description Summary

The Building Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

About the Role:

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarms, etc.).
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and ensure all building systems comply with health and safety standards.
  • Address urgent maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and report issues as needed.

About You:

  • Diploma in Facilities Management / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant facility management experiences or equivalent
