Job Description Summary

The AM/ M/ SM – Business Development will be focused on land transactions, will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land opportunities for development. This includes market research, lead generation, client relationship management, negotiation, and deal closure. The role requires a strong understanding of the industrial and logistics real estate market, land acquisition processes.

Key Result Area

Market Analysis & Lead Generation

• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential locations for industrial and logistics facilities. This includes analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and demand-supply dynamics.
• Lead Identification: Identify and qualify potential land opportunities through networking, cold calling, and leveraging industry contacts (brokers, landowners, developers).
• Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate ecosystem, including brokers, landowners, developers, and local authorities.

Client Relationship Management

• Client Needs Assessment: Understand client requirements and objectives for land acquisition, including size, location, zoning, and development potential.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients and partners.
• Communication & Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the value proposition of the land opportunity.

Strategy & Reporting

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
• Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales performance, lead generation, and deal closure progress.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams

Background & Experience

• Minimum of 3 - 8 years of experience in Business Development within Real Estate/Industrial & Logistics sector
• Good understanding of Industrial market is preferred

Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Graduation in any stream.
