• Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications.
• Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
• Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications.
• Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
• Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
• Gathers data for preparation of technical reports.
• Gathers data to prepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions.
• Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree or other 2-year post high school training.
• 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.
• Must not had received any disciplinary action for one year.
• Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan.
• With at least a year in his/her current position.
