About the job

The Global Process Owner (GPO) – People Services is responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end HR service delivery processes across RTX’s global footprint. This role is pivotal in driving standardization, digital enablement, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure seamless, data-driven employee experience.

You will act as the process design authority for core People Services processes, ensuring they are globally consistent, locally compliant, and digitally optimized through platforms such as Workday, Service Now, and other enabling technologies.

The role collaborates closely with HR leadership, Digital Technology, Centers of Excellence (Co Es), and regional delivery hubs to enable efficiency, scalability, and service excellence across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Strategy & Design:

  • Define and own the global HR process architecture for People Services, ensuring alignment with RTX’s HR operating model and enterprise strategy

  • Design and continuously refine end-to-end processes across the employee lifecycle — focusing on simplification, digitalization, and automation

  • Benchmark against industry best practices and drive adoption of standard global processes while balancing regional and legal variations

  • Develop service level frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and governance models to measure process effectiveness

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the pipeline of People Services process optimization initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience

  • Partner with Digital and HR CoE’s to implement automation, AI, chatbots, and analytics solutions that reduce manual effort and improve service outcomes

  • Drive process readiness for system implementations, integrations, and service migrations (e.g., Workday, Service Now)

  • Build business cases to quantify cost savings, efficiency gains, and value realization from process enhancements

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure processes comply with global policies, data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, PDPA), and local legal requirements

  • Maintain and govern process documentation, ownership, and version control across regions

  • Partner with Compliance and Audit teams to address process gaps, risks, and controls

Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building

  • Serve as the trusted advisor and thought partner to regional delivery teams, Co Es, and HR leadership

  • Facilitate cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to ensure alignment, adoption, and consistent execution

  • Mentor and coach local teams, driving process discipline, innovation, and ownership mindset

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field

  • 15+ years of HR / HR Operations / Shared Services experience with strong exposure to global process design, transformation, and compliance

  • Proven experience in GBS / Shared Services setup — including HR process ownership, digital HR tools, and data analytics

  • Strong understanding of HR process transformation, transition methodologies, global employment laws, and governance frameworks

  • Demonstrated expertise in using analytics and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

  • Hands-on experience with Workday, Service Now, and related digital HR platforms

  • Strong data analytics and excel skills for process analysis is a must

Required Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen – Align process strategy to enterprise and HR goals

  • Change Leadership – Drive adoption and mindset shifts across global teams

  • Analytical Thinking – Use data to identify issues, measure impact, and guide decisions

  • Collaboration & Influence – Build trusted relationships across functions and regions

  • Global Mindset – Balance global consistency with regional flexibility

  • Risk & Compliance Management – Embed control frameworks in process design
