A caregiver in this position works days 6: 30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with the ability to travel locally in Northeast Ohio as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Assist with installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, analyzing and/or maintaining Building Automation Systems, remote connections and system malfunctions.
-
Respond to alarms and alerts.
-
Ensure safe and effective operations and working environments.
-
Monitor all critical temperature and humidity devices, such as meters and gauges.
-
Assist with inspecting and calibrating devices.
-
Assist other caregivers with inventory.
-
Record for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.
-
Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
-
A high school diploma or GED.
-
One year of exposure and demonstrated understanding of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) or building automation systems (BAS).
-
Strong customer service background.
-
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:
-
Typical physical demands require full body motion including ability to perform work while bending, stooping, stretching and climbing ladders.
-
Requires dexterity and strength sufficient to operate required tools and machinery.
-
Typically required to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing 25 to 100 lbs. and/or assist with lifting weights exceeding 100 lbs.
-
Requires color acuity sufficient to distinguish color-coded signage and systems.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
