Services Trade & Working Capital Solutions (TWCS) is strategically focused on growing its Commercial Banking Business (CCB) segment. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This critical role is going to directly contribute to achieving our growth objectives globally and for the Americas Clusters. The TWCS CCB Americas Product Lead and Global Productivity Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities, market launch and ongoing product management across various global markets and especially the Americas. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial banking market needs, competitive landscapes, and technological trends to drive the development and success of Trade & Working Capital products that meet customer demands and business objectives. This role reports directly to the TWCS CCB Global Product Lead & Americas Head.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business results and contribute directly to the P&L performance of TWCS CCB globally and for the Americas clusters covering all the Trade products
  • Participate in setting, communicating and tracking progress against the strategic priorities for the business
  • Assess relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to help define strategies to improve client experience and product execution
  • Work in close co-ordination with Sales, Banking, Operations, Risk, Legal, Technology, and senior stakeholders to fulfill the delivery objectives
  • Provide subject matter expertise and execute on core product management disciplines such as product development, commercialization, platform and pillars, launching, and marketing to improve client experience and portfolio growth
  • Partner with Sales and Banking teams to provide product guidance in deal structuring and approvals
  • Work with Operations and Technology with regards to delivery of process and platform enhancements
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proven track record of operating in a large and complex business, bringing diverse groups and perspectives together to work against a common goal
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business goals
  • Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
  • Excellent analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
  • Process Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
  • Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with senior members of an organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product development, financial acumen, and investment processes
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
