We are seeking a VP Emerging Markets Credit Trader in London to oversee a significant trading book and manage associated risks. This pivotal role ensures budgeted revenues are met and contributes substantially to developing the firm's trading franchise within the dynamic Emerging Markets Credit landscape. Primary Responsibilities of the role
- Manage and generate revenues for a significant Emerging Markets Credit trading book, ensuring optimal risk management.
- Collaborate strategically with Sales, Research, and internal partners to drive franchise development within Emerging Markets Credit.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships to originate and execute credit transactions.
- Proactively anticipate client demand and market trends within Emerging Markets Credit products.
- Ensure robust governance and control, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in risk/reward assessments, upholding firm reputation and ethical standards.

- Extensive experience in Emerging Markets Credit trading or a highly related fixed income role.
- Deep expertise in Emerging Markets Credit products, market dynamics, and client segments.
- Advanced analytical, quantitative, and numerical skills for complex credit analysis and risk modeling.
- Demonstrated proficiency with trading systems, Bloomberg, and related market data platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to assess risk, make informed trading decisions, and contribute to franchise growth.
