Team/Role Overview
The Asset Servicing Senior Analyst provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.
What you’ll do
Act as Senior Point of contact on the team, involved in discussions on Teams performance, hiring, and daily task direction.
Manage the end-to-end processing of Voluntary Corporate Action events, encompassing reconciliation, communication, and postings.
Act as a primary liaison with clients, depositories, agents, and issuers for event clarification and instruction solicitation.
Identify, capture, and accurately process all incoming client instructions related to Corporate Action events.
Oversee risk management activities, including tracking and mitigating risks associated with client responses, funding, and processing.
Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to processing procedures and controls throughout the life cycle of voluntary events.
Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, identifying gaps and contributing to continuous improvements and system enhancements.
Serve as the initial point of escalation for problem resolution, demonstrating sound ethical judgment and compliance with regulations.
What we’ll need from you
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent practical experience.
Intermediate to senior-level experience in an asset servicing or corporate actions role.
Proven experience in people management or a supervisory capacity.
In-depth disciplinary knowledge of asset servicing operations and corporate action processing.
Strong leadership, operational, and service direction capabilities.
Excellent communication and diplomacy skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated ability to appropriately assess and mitigate operational and reputational risks.
Experience in contributing to system enhancement functions, including feedback on Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
