  • Due Diligence and Credit Memo Preparation: Conduct comprehensive due diligence and prepare detailed written credit memos for periodic monitoring, including annual reviews and quarterly updates on existing transactions. Memos must encompass a thorough analysis of business terms, structural elements, strengths, prevailing risk factors, asset types, and compliance with internal underwriting guidelines and applicable policies and procedures to formulate and inform final credit recommendations to Risk.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Execute ongoing, timely monitoring of individual transaction performance and overarching portfolio trends.
  • Product, Market, and Industry Expertise: Continuously stay abreast of the latest research and developments within the industry, evolving product offerings, and rating agency criteria.
  • Policy and Regulatory Adherence: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and ensure rigorous compliance with Citibank Wholesale Credit Risk policies, standards, and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory policies, to ensure the business unit consistently achieves satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors and reviewers.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies. Lead projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and collaborate effectively with the management team on the prioritization and implementation of approved actions.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 7 years of progressive credit analysis experience within a financial institution, coupled with demonstrated familiarity in regulatory, compliance, and policy environments.
  • Proven analytical capabilities, including the ability to comprehensively assess the structural components of individual transactions, the quality of underlying pool assets, and asset managers' capabilities, strategies, underwriting approaches, portfolio management techniques, and track records.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and autonomous work style, complemented by a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
