Your impact

As a Data Engineer at Cisco, you’ll help shape our data-driven future by building and supporting coordinated data solutions that power business analytics and machine learning across the organization. Collaborating with diverse teams, you’ll ensure our data is high-quality, accessible, and easy to use—enabling smarter decisions, optimizing marketing investments, and enhancing customer experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields; within 6 months of graduation.

• AI literacy, Cloud-first attitude, Data-driven, Agile familiarity.

• Familiarity or experience with databases (ex: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and big data processing frameworks (ex: Hadoop, Spark)

• Proficiency in English. The candidate must possess strong command over both written and spoken English

• Able to legally live and work in the country for which you’re applying, without visa support or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RESTful API design

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau

• Understanding of data security best practices

• Knowledge of full‑stack development for building comprehensive data solutions
