The job profile for this position is IT Project Management Senior Advisor,  which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-

  • Oversee Integration Solution Management (ISM) team’s work to meet complex project integration/end-to-end (E2E) testing objectives throughout integrated testing life cycle;

  • Work with business/technology/solution teams to develop artifacts like business process diagrams, test plans, system design documents, and automated test scripts to support business objectives, such as improved eligibility testing, claims adjudication, and healthcare pricing, for healthcare platforms/ensure healthcare application functionality;

  • Allocate testing activities budget to projects;

  • Coordinate, schedule, and assign project tasks such as test scenario creation, test planning, test execution, defect tracking, environment setup, and preparation of Jira dashboards to deliver large-scale project releases for consumers;

  • Maintain client relationships with business stakeholders, IT, and other teams such as Operations, Finance, and Regulatory/Compliance;

  • Evaluate and report progress for quality/performance metrics for IT projects/system architecture projects; Use understanding of system architecture to lead project to reduce large set of payment gateway transactions to one system using Unique Transaction Identifiers;

  • Define and implement structured release plans (forecasting, tracking, reporting), quality assurance testing plans, and project timelines;

  • Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);

  • Use reporting techniques including Jira dashboards, Kanban, sprint burndown, and weekly status reports for project status traceability;

  • Work with systems teams to plan technical integrated, E2E, and regression testing for portfolio and program-level epics;

  • Review project test strategy including test scope/objectives, high level E2E testing scenarios/test data management to reduce critical defects and validate system performance;

  • Develop reusable automated test scripts using Selenium/TestNG to test web applications, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and backend systems; Maintain test script compatibility, update automation frameworks, and maintain integration with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines;

  • Facilitate continuous improvement including identification/implementation of test automation for regression testing and API validation;

  • Coordinate with clients on systems testing, installation, and training. Ensure that testing standards/guidelines are followed;

  • Document/communicate testing progress;

  • Reprioritize test scenarios, reassign test cases, escalate blockers; and

  • Initiate regression testing/modify test plans as needed.

  • Hybrid Work Schedule.

Qualifications-

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or related;

  • 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, Test Management or related within the commercial and governmental healthcare domains relating to member enrollment, claims processing, payer solutions, providers, and finance;

  • Or a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in the same;

  • Experience with system architecture projects, Quality Assurance Testing and Analysis, Jira, Kanban, sprint burndown, Zephyr, Agile methodology, Scrum, Waterfall methodology, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Selenium, TestNG, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Unique Transaction Identifiers, system architecture, and Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
