We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Platform Infrastructure and Admin Engineer with experience in GPU computing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on Databricks and GPU acceleration. The Databricks Platform Infrastructure and Admin Engineer will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our Databricks environment, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
· Administer and maintain the Databricks platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
· Manage and optimize Unity Catalog for data governance, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
· Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions for Databricks, leveraging GPU resources.
· Monitor and manage Databricks infrastructure performance, including GPU utilization and resource allocation.
· Implement and enforce security policies and best practices for data protection and compliance.
· Automate infrastructure management tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Terragrunt).
· Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to support and optimize data pipelines and machine learning workflows.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Databricks infrastructure, GPU performance, and platform administration.
· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing, data engineering, and GPU acceleration.
· Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Platform Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Databricks and GPU computing.
· Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure management, data engineering principles, and ETL processes.
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Hands-on experience with GPU acceleration technologies (e.g., NVIDIA CUDA, Tensor Flow, Py Torch).
· Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Required Experience & Education:
· 13 – 16 Years of over all experience in Technology
· Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.
· College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
· Hands on experience engineering/developing modern on-prem/public cloud Dev Sec Ops solutions.
· Willing to learn, go above and beyond attitudes.
· Experience with modern and legacy development languages.
· Must have strong terraform abilities plus python scripting.
· Deep understanding for aws sdk.
· Relevant experience in handling AWS or other cloud solutions.
Desired Experience:
· Exposure to AWS and Databricks DevOps.
· Healthcare experience including Disease Management
· Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements.
· Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
