 Job Overview:

As a Quality Engineer Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, including both automated and manual testing approaches. You will lead test planning and execution for complex projects, ensuring thorough coverage of functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

You will drive the adoption of the best practices in test automation, CI/CD, and agile methodologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality engineering processes.

Design, develop, and maintain both automated and manual test cases for web, API, and backend systems to ensure robust coverage and high-quality releases.

Lead test planning, execution, and comprehensive reporting for complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and risk mitigation.

Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guarantee thorough and effective test coverage.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements, resolve defects, and align on quality objectives.

Implement, enhance, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium and Robot Framework.

Conduct root cause analysis and proactively drive the resolution of quality issues to prevent recurrence.

Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the advancement of CI/CD pipelines and practices.

Track, analyze, and report on quality metrics, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Champion continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools across the organization.

Advocate for a team-wide ownership of quality, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

Identify code smells and collaborate with developers to address and remediate quality concerns in the product codebase.

Demonstrate a passion for identifying bottlenecks and performance thresholds in existing code using automation tools.

Exercise sound judgment in determining when automation is appropriate and when manual testing is more effective.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

4 years of experience in software automation testing and quality engineering3 years of experience developing in scripting languages such as C# or Python2 years of Agile Experience required

Skills:

Proven knowledge of Automation Using Selenium, Cucumber, C#/Java, Robot framework (Python)Familiarity with BDD/TDD concepts and understanding of test automation principles Strong analytical skills and technical skills to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns or anomalies Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts Experience in using MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and manipulation. Knowledge of formulas, functions, pivot tables, and macros. Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently Experience with webservices, API testing approaches and with tools such as Postman or Insomnium Familiarity with XML and Json formats.

Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).Knowledge and understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.

Experience in different levels and types of testing, including functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing, stress and performance testing, and failure injection Experience in test case design, test execution and test result reporting.

Has experience in using scanning tools such as Sonarqube, Fortify, Veracode
