About the role

We are looking for an experienced AI Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and ethical AI solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business to turn complex requirements into AI‑driven solutions that deliver real business impact across International Markets.

You will play a key role in shaping enterprise‑wide AI and data architecture, championing modern AI capabilities, and embedding responsible AI principles into everything we build.

As an AI Architect, you will define and guide AI‑enabled data solutions from concept through delivery, ensuring they are robust, well‑governed, and production‑ready. You will influence architectural direction, support delivery teams, and act as a strong advocate for AI‑driven design within an agile environment.​

Job responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and ethical AI solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.

• Work closely with business, IT, and external partners to deliver AI-driven solutions that make a real impact.

• With an AI focus, perform key enterprise-wide Data Architecture responsibilities within International Markets.

• Champion the use of machine learning, natural language processing, and advanced analytics in our business processes.

• Guide the Solution Design framework to enhance and collaborate with solution architects to map requirements to AI-enabled data solutions.

• Manage AI models, AI & data pipelines, and design artefacts; provide expert guidance on best practices.

• Shape high-level estimates and delivery plans and govern deployed models and systems.

• Identify and address risks related to AI ethics, data privacy, and model performance.

• Lead the selection and integration of third-party AI platforms and tools.

• Keep up with emerging trends in AI, data architecture, and enterprise technology.

• Support and mentor design & development teams to embed AI and data architecture principles.

• Be an advocate for AI driven design within an agile delivery framework.

Skills/Qualities:

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale AI and data architectures.

• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid/on‑premise architectures.

• Experience managing the AI model lifecycle (pipelines, deployment, monitoring, governance).

• Ability to translate business needs into clear architectural designs and influence senior stakeholders.

• Hands‑on experience with ML, NLP, and advanced analytics use cases.

• Experience with MLOps, model governance, and responsible AI frameworks.

• Background working in complex, multi‑market or regulated environments.
