Job Profile:
- Supervisor – Claims Operations
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- This candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Claims processors.
- This candidate will supervise the day-to-day operations activities, and assist in hiring, training, and reviewing performance of staff. Review, evaluate, and resolve inventory concerns.
- Guides employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
- Responsible for managing and meeting key financial metrics across the team’s books of business
- Meets operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying claim processing efficiencies and improvements.

- Always be a leader to the operations team to ensure timely and quality outcomes in all systems.
- Partner with quality team to identify trends and opportunities for continued improvement.
- Demonstrate the flexibility needed to ensure superior client and customer experience while keeping compliance at the forefront of all we do.
- Provide innovative ideas that demonstrate outside-the-box thinking.
- Willingness to lead improvement initiatives even if outside of their comfort zone
- Communicate effectively with team, peers and key business partners that build meaningful and productive relationships.
- Initiate individual coaching plans as necessary
- Collaborate with GSP partners to ensure the level of output matches that of the internal team.
Qualifications:
- Overall 8+ years of experience in Healthcare Claim Adjudication process (in that min. 2 years of team management experience). US & International claims processing experience preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- People management experience and experience in an inventory management environment with respect to turnaround time and quality required
- Experience providing feedback and conducting performance coaching sessions
- Knowledge of Claims processing
- Seeking opportunities for efficiency and process improvement in all aspects of the organization.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access, Word and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize work and work independently while managing time effectively; Able to multitask when necessary
- Ability to independently identify a problem and conduct the necessary research to locate a solution
Job Location:
- Bangalore, India (Work from office)
Work Shift:
- 17:00 to 02:00 IST (core US shift)
