- Coordinate and manage the performance of EMBU Operations’ Shore Bases, including their personnel and material resources. Work to ensure world-class excellent operational delivery and the highest standards of service provided to the offshore facilities and vessels. Maintain and develop business growth and efficiency in accordance with the BU strategy.
- Coordinate and execute logistics, equipment, and personnel mobilization to and from offshore facilities, and create vessels’ operation schedules according to the offshore facilities' requirements.
- Manage charter/leased vessels regulatory and corporate standards compliance. Act as BU representative for Marine operations – Ensure compliance with Local & International marine regulations (IMOT & IMO), and cooperate with Chevron Shipping MSRE (Marine Safety, Reliability & Efficiency) department.
- Work with the EHS&R department to ensure compliance with the company’s procedures and local laws and regulations, including Hazardous Materials handling, monitoring safety performance, and reviewing work processes, lead an excellent safety culture, and perform as the ultimate work authority in the BU shore base facility.
- Implement and assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining various aspects of shore base procedures, including health & safety, supply chain, operations, projects, security, and environmental. Implement specific shore base procedures and processes to ensure service excellence and impart ownership and accountability of the Shore base function.
- Manage Operations’ Shore base budget, monitor and approve invoices, and keep accurate records of all transactions. Ensure correct charges to the relevant JV accounts. Align with Finance on identifying and tracking cost-saving opportunities.
- Work with offshore and onshore key stakeholders on activities planning, identify and solve issues involved with marine vessel operations.
- Develop and ensure implementation of the Shore base annual work plan, strategy, objectives, and goals. Create, analyze statistics, extract data, identify, and establish shore base KPI’s.
- Ensure record keeping of documentation related to equipment mobilization, waste and hazardous materials waste disposal, suppliers’ delivery documents, and cargo manifests.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Ports Management as well as other relevant regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
- Logistics/Marine background - advantage
- Strong verbal/written communication in English
- Ability to work in non-routine hours and under pressure with a Yes-can-do approach
- Multitasking capabilities
- Ability to manage tactical and day-to-day activities
- Self-driven, react quickly to changes
- Strong computer skills and good control of Microsoft Office applications
- Driving license
- The position is located in Israel
