Schwab's Prospect Conversion Team is an integral part of the broader Investor Services organization and is primarily responsible for the retail acquisition of prospects as well as new retail clients who have been at Schwab less than 90 days. We strive to create a consistent and exceptional experience to ensure every client experiences the very best Schwab has to offer. We accomplish this by focusing on the client's holistic needs, assisting with new account openings, proposing relevant solutions and navigating them through the steps necessary to ensure they are in a fully integrated relationship with Schwab.
A passion for engaging and creating impactful experiences for prospects and new to retail clients within a dynamic work environment. The New Client Investment Consultant on the Prospect Conversion Team will excel at:
- Proactively engaging with prospects/new to retail clients through various channels including, but not limited to: Inbound/outbound calls, referrals from retail partners, and email.
- Identifying business development opportunities through needs-based discovery and then effectively positions appropriate products and solutions.
- Being individually motivated, competitive, and demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset to maximize your impact on clients and the firm.
- Balancing multiple priorities with a focus on engaging with as many prospects as possible while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Determining and understanding client goals/objectives and positions suitable offerings based upon individual needs and referring to a branch Financial Consultant when appropriate.
- Influencing - shaping the client's opinions and actions in a manner that gains their trust and confidence.

What you have

Required qualifications:
- Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license
- Active and valid FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license (may be obtained within a 120 day condition of employment)
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work related experience
- Minimum of 2 years in financial services
- Business development experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Schwab's products and services
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively and work with minimal supervision
