Your role @ CHANEL

As Architecture & Infrastructure Operation SOC Expert, you will ensure the performance, reliability, and continual evolution of CHANEL’s global SOC infrastructure while collaborating across regions and teams to optimize security operations and develop new SOC services. As part of the role, you will :

Provide technical expertise to ensure the reliability, performance, and continuity of SOC infrastructure

• Supporting the seamless delivery of security services across all Regions, Divisions, Global teams, and Corporate entities.

• Reinforce the robustness and availability of the Global SOC infrastructure, ensuring that every component from log ingestion to analysis platforms operates with stability and precision.

• Monitor operational KPIs and implement action plans to maintain the expected quality of SOC services, ensuring the protection of CHANEL’s assets.

• Track Partners’ KPIs, ensuring SLAs and SLOs are achieved.

• Prepare and support business reviews with Partners, presenting results to GISec committees and regional/divisional stakeholders.

Contribute to the design, enhancement, and continuous evolution of SOC platforms,

• Shape the technical architecture of the SOC, contributing to a secure, scalable, and coherent platform capable of supporting CHANEL’s global ambitions and digital sophistication.

• Collaborate with the Head of Info Sec Response to define, embed, and deploy security operations processes and solutions, ensuring continuity and operational excellence.

• Taking ownership of the underlying infrastructure to guarantee performance, security, resilience, and long-term operational integrity.

• Work closely with Regions, Divisions, and Global/Corporate teams (RISOs, DISOs, IT/business managers, worldwide infrastructure teams) to formalize operational continuity and facilitate its integration into SOC processes.

• Define security requirements and validate architectures for incident response.

Collaborate with Regions, Divisions, Global teams, and Corporate entities

• Uphold operational security continuity, prioritizing infrastructure-driven actions that ensure the optimal performance, availability, and refinement of all SOC platforms.

• Guarantee the continuity of security operations by anticipating risks linked to obsolescence, capacity, performance, or architectural weaknesses, and by addressing them with refined, durable solutions.

• Coordinate security infrastructure and application project evolutions with GIS/GDP/local owners.

• Ensure documentation readiness and timely task delivery

• Contribute to the creation and optimization of new SOC services

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in an international environment
• Advanced knowledge of infrastructure technologies used by Info Sec (Linux/Windows systems, networking, cloud platforms, virtualization, monitoring, firewalls/proxy, network segmentation, VPN technologies, PKI, PAM, IAM, encryption at rest and in transit)
• Strong understanding of MOC/MSC practices, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with automation (Ansible/Terraform), monitoring frameworks, and modern infrastructure patterns.
• Strong technical and production expertise
• Managing infrastructure and cybersecurity incidents with on-call duty periods some weekends
• Fluency in English and French
