About the role

This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards to guarantee a safe and sustainable workplace. You will coordinate activities aimed at accident prevention, risk control, and the effective implementation of safety programs and environmental management systems aligned with Carrier’s global standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an EH&S Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

• Analyzing, preventing, and controlling safety and environmental risks related to plant operations

• Coordinating internal and external audits

• Maintaining up-to-date permits, licenses, and regulatory reports

• Investigating accidents and incidents

• Managing KPIs such as TRIR, LTIR, and near misses

• Reporting EH&S metrics to management

• Proposing data-driven improvement initiatives

• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and Corporate Leadership standards

Culture and Leadership

• Coordinating safety trainings, emergency brigades, committees, and safety culture initiatives

Requirements

We are looking for people who are proactive, analytical, detail‑oriented, and committed to workplace safety. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering

• 3–4 years of EH&S experience within a manufacturing plant

• Experience with regulatory audits

• Knowledge of STPS regulations

• ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 experience

• Risk analysis skills

• Experience managing safety KPIs

• Advanced English (mandatory)

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience in multinational companies

• Additional EH&S certifications

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
