About This Role

As an Entry-level Procurement professional you will be responsible for carrying out processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis. You will be working with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and / or services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports procurement processes/standards, including preparing/crafting requests for proposals, bid analysis, cost accountability, and/or program execution
• Responds to factory and/or supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Works with commodity managers and/or supply chain director in commercial activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services
• Prepares purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly
• Collects, assembles and analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data/info for presentation to managers/directors
• Compiles/analyzes records of items purchased, costs, deliveries in order to measure product/supplier performance and ensure factory needs are met
• Serves as escalation point with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure continuity of supply/resolution of issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1+ years of experience in procurement/buying or purchasing.
• 1+ years of experience working with Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
• Factory/manufacturing experience is preferred
• Ability to communicate and resolve problems effectively.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and follow-through.

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is $98,750–$138,250. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
