Job Purpose and Impact:

The Supply & Production Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating inbound/outbound material flows and production scheduling for the Hamburg multi-oils refinery. The role ensures optimal supply chain performance, cost control, and high customer service standards by managing short-term planning horizons (1-4 weeks for supply, 1-7 days for production) and resolving operational bottlenecks.

  • Key Accountabilities
  • Create and execute short-term supply and production plans, including sequencing for 14 production lines, inventory management, and cycle stock planning, including monitoring bottle necks and navigate solutions development
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during disruptions; manage communication and solution development.
  • Track KPIs (cost, complaints), identify gaps, and lead improvement projects to strengthen customer approach and margins.
  • Drive cost control by optimizing the network across multiple oil refineries, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Work experience in supply and production planning within a plant/ production environment in FMCG or related industry.
  • Fluent English and German (daily work in both languages)
  • Practical knowledge of the SAP system
  • Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage change and ambiguity.
  • Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration in virtual teams.
  • High adaptability and accountability in dynamic environments.
  • Business acumen and priority setting.
