Job Purpose and Impact
The Marketing & Communication Manager will develop specific customer driven marketing strategies, value propositions, segmentations, experiences, targeted communications and new customer solutions and concepts. In this role, you will create and execute a marketing strategy to achieve profitable growth and value creation for both customers and the company. You will collaborate cross functionally to establish business plans and marketing opportunities to activate and deliver customer value through the customer buying process and achieve customer driven growth.

Key Accountabilities
-
Plan, execute and measure marketing strategies, promotions and annual plans for customer segments or specific channels to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.

Collaborate with the sales and Category Managers, align marketing initiatives with channel optimization, brand activations, value propositions and product and category plans to ensure integrated marketing activities support a consistent customer experience.

Ensure timely execution of key customer or channel initiatives based on priorities established through the marketing planning process.

Demonstrate deep knowledge of customer priorities to help identify areas where additional customer profitability and brand growth can be achieved.

Monitor channel performance and metrics and serve as the feedback loop between sales and customers to ensure efficiency of initiatives and improve return on investment.

Evaluate and modify promotion or advertising programs.
-
Organize customer recognition programs with support of 3rd party agencies when needed.

Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Coordinate Cargill Care initiatives together with regional Marketing Communication support

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business related or equivalent experience
-
Minimum of four years of related work experience, preferred candidate from agricultural business

Experience in value proposition development
-
Experience in marketing planning, digital marketing, campaign planning and execution, performance measurement, demand generation and activation and or content delivery
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in value proposition development

Experience in internal communication development
PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES:
-
Collaborate with account managers to execute customer analysis for individual or groups of customers using marketing tools.

Participate in evaluating and modifying promotion or advertising programs.
