The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join a multidisciplined team to work on delivering the next generation of mission management systems using cutting edge cloud native technologies following an extreme agile continuous deployment software development framework.
Responsibilities:
- Lead UX initiatives and follow established best practices as part of the SPEAR program
- Collaborate with one other UX designer, product manager, Mission Engineers, and development teams to translate user needs into design mockups.
- Implement and maintain user interface components and interactions according to design specifications and established UI Style Guide
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
- Conduct user testing and research and gather feedback to inform design iterations and improvements, as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UX design and accessibility.
- Contribute to the documentation of design and development processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, or a related field.
- [5+] years of experience in UX design and 508 compliance
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Axure RP.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in user research methods and data analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Good communication skills for presenting ideas to stakeholders, development teams and leadership
- Willingness to work in a mission-focused government environment
- Must have a TS/SCI clearance
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Experience building fluid/web responsive designs for user interfaces
Desired:
- Portfolio of past projects demonstrating UX design skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards
- Experience in government or defense-related projects

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
