The Opportunity:
As (ACSSO/AFSO) Assistant Contractor Specialist Security Officer /Assistant Facility Security Officer, you will be responsible for helping manage the day-to-day operations of a busy, complex facility security program, ensuring compliance with government regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices. You will be the secondary point of contact for all security matters, working closely with leadership to safeguard sensitive information and assets, and maintain a secure working environment.
Responsibilities:

Administer and monitor personnel security clearances
-
Onboard and offboard accesses and lead security indoctrinations and debriefings.

Support alarm response and investigation, perform random inspections, coordinate alarm testing and maintenance.

Process incoming and outgoing Visit Requests.
-
Brief employees on their responsibilities for protecting, handling, transmitting, and storing National Security Information.

Administer compliant security education, training and awareness, and update records accordingly.

Qualifications:
Required:
-
Previous industrial security experience.
-
U.S. citizenship and minimum active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access. Practical knowledge of and experience with eAPP, NBIS, NISS, and DISS.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years’ related work experience.

Understanding of security clearance processes and personnel security programs.

Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement effective security strategies.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and people skills.
-
Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment. Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives.
Desired:

Facility Security Officer (FSO) for Possessing Facilities Certification
-
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
-
Previous Industrial Security FSO or AFSO experience.
-
Ability to handle multiple priorities and rapid pace of busy security program.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $63,300 - 129,700 USD
