The Opportunity:Join our dynamic team as a DCGS Network Engineer and leverage your technical expertise to enhance the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) baseline systems. You will play a crucial role in optimizing operational and training networks, managing data flows, and coordinating development and fielding efforts among various stakeholders. This position offers the chance to conduct cutting-edge research on emerging technologies and provide valuable insights to improve our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical expertise for DCGS baseline systems, operational networks, and data flows.

  • Collaborate with customers, build teams, test organizations, and sustainment groups to ensure seamless development and fielding.

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and advise on their optimal usage.

  • Decompose and define requirements, providing engineering expertise to develop and sustain DOD requirements.

  • Oversee the design, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of the network supporting customer systems.

  • Manage the installation, maintenance, conversion, and sustainment of Network/IT components.

  • Support and troubleshoot both classified and unclassified network efforts.

Qualifications:Required:

  • Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.

  • Proven experience working with staff analysts, system engineers, and architects to align operational requirements with technical solutions.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in mission capabilities and proposed solutions.
