Job Description:
The Supply Planner develops short- and long‑term plans at the item/location level to manage stock movements across the distribution network, ensuring customer service and operational targets are met. This role provides analytical support to the planning process and ensures accurate information flow to business partners through proper use of planning systems. Flexibility, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
The planner is responsible for creating feasible supply and replenishment plans that improve stock availability while minimizing obsolescence. The role oversees the full planning lifecycle for assigned SKUs, ensuring the right products are available at the right time and place to meet demand and service expectations.
This position is empowered to make decisions to balance or resolve supply constraints by considering supply capability, lead times, service requirements, and working capital limitations—often in uncertain or fast‑changing demand situations. These decisions are critical in maintaining operational continuity and supporting the company’s performance goals.
