To support Purchasing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering in identifying, developing, and maintaining prototype and pilot-stage supply chains. This role ensures optimized cost, logistics, and delivery while providing clear communication to stakeholders on component status and project timing.

Primary Duties:

• Assist with Supplier quotations for new development projects, suggest optimal supply chain solutions, and utilize preferred global suppliers.

• Coordinate prototype and pilot build purchasing activities, including PO creation, expediting, and MRP cost data accuracy.

• Organize and maintain supplier readiness for prototype and pilot builds, including expediting PPAP reviews with Quality.

• Communicate project status, timing, and risks to internal stakeholders; escalate issues as needed.

• Maintain supplier performance, preferred supplier lists, and support supplier development and transition activities.

• Verify and maintain data integrity in SAP S/4 Hana for new products (weights, commodity codes, planners).

• Support KPI improvements, reporting performance against objectives, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field or 8 years of commensurate experience.

• Experience in Procurement or Purchasing within a manufacturing environment

• Experience making sourcing decisions based on cost, quality, and delivery

• Knowledge of PPAP, ISO 9001, and standard quality requirements

• Experience with MRP systems (Fourth Shift or similar) and SAP S/4 Hana preferred

• Knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel for medium-complexity tracking

Annualized base pay between $65,000 to $80,000.
