As a System Function Responsible (SFR), you will take ownership of a key function within our automotive radar system and ensure its successful realization from concept to series production.
Your contribution to something big:
- Take end-to-end responsibility for a designated radar system function, including architecture definition and feature integration.
- Plan, coordinate and track development activities across requirements engineering, implementation and verification.
- Analyze change requests and evaluate technical and business impact.
- Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of features, components and documentation.
- Drive risk assessment, verification strategy and test definition with a strong focus on functional safety and quality.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and proactively manage dependencies between system functions.
- Provide transparency on development status, risks and mitigation plans to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support hardware bring-up and system validation activities when required.
Your work directly contributes to reliable perception systems that make automated driving safer and more intelligent.
What distinguishes you:
1. Education
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or a comparable field.
2. Experience
- Professional experience (around 3 years) in embedded systems or automotive device development.
- Experience in system engineering, requirements management and verification activities.
- Exposure to safety-critical environments (e.g., ISO 26262) is an advantage.
3. Know-how
- Strong understanding of radar systems or comparable sensor technologies.
- Knowledge in:System requirements engineering and interface definition
- Impact analysis and risk management
- Verification strategy and test methodologies
- Configuration, change and defect management
- Experience with hardware bring-up and system-level debugging is beneficial.
- Understanding of automotive development processes and quality standards.
4. Languages
- Very good English skills (written and spoken).
