As a cyber professional, you know that understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures is vital to producing the intel that enables the success of Air Force clients. As an AWS Cybersecurity Specialist on our team, you’ll be trusted to help customers solve problems using the latest software like Ansible, Terraform, and Splunk. Using vulnerability assessments, monitoring, and testing, you’ll work with multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You’ll help monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary.
In this role, you’ll impact Defense mission readiness by supporting the security, stability, and accessibility of AWS environments.

You Have:
-
3 years of experience providing cybersecurity support in an AWS Gov Cloud environment
-
2 years of Experience with DoD security technical implementation guides (STIGs), checklists, and testing
-
2 years of experience performing Vulnerability Assessment and Incident Response analysis activities
-
2 years of experience performing operating system continuous monitoring tasks
-
Experience with control implementations associated with RMF, FedRAMP, ICD 503, and DoD Information Levels, including applying them to the design and implementation of IT solutions to achieve system authorizations
-
Experience creating cybersecurity artifacts in support of authorization or compliance packages
-
Secret clearance
-
HS diploma or GED
-
DoD 8140 baseline Certification, such as Security, CySA, or CISSP
Nice If You Have:

Experience with cyber related tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Splunk

Experience developing and reviewing ATO authorization packages in Xacta or eMASS
-
Knowledge of Air Force cybersecurity policies and procedures
-
Ability to work on a geographically dispersed team
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
